LYONS, GA – A 60-year-old woman was left dead from a single-car crash in Toombs County Wednesday.
The collision occurred before 7:45 pm on Georgia Highway 292, WTOC reported. For reasons unknown, the woman’s car traveled off course and hit a tree.
The woman was identified as Kathy Whitaker.
Whitaker succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
