Macon Crash Reports

BIBB COUNTY, GA – A mother and her two sons were killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash on I-475 in Macon Sunday.  The collision occurred around 2 pm, WSBTV reported. For reasons unknown, the woman lost control of her black Chevrolet SUV, which traveled off course and hit a tree before catching on fire.  The children were identified as Kyron Gregory, 19, and Yahi Gregory, 10. The woman was identified as Karen Gregory, 41.  It is unclear what the contributing factors of the crash were. MACON, GA – A 48-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries and died after she hit a Honda Civic in Macon Saturday, 13 WMAZ reported.  The collision occurred at Shurling Drive and Treadway Drive around 4 pm. For reasons unknown, the 48-year-old woman, who traveled in a VolvoS60, crossed the centerline and collided with a Honda Civic.  Both women were hospitalized at Atrium Health.  The driver of a Honda Civic, a 30-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive. However, the 48-year-old woman, later identified as Misty Rethemeyer, died from her injuries and was pronounced dead.   No further information

BIBB COUNTY, GA – One was injured, and a 72-year-old man was left dead from a crash in Macon Monday, 13 WMAZ revealed.  The collision occurred around 9 pm on Emery Highway. A Chevrolet Cruze was struck after a Pontiac G8 attempted to turn onto Fort Hill Street.  The driver of the Pontiac was injured.  However, the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze succumbed to their injuries.
