BYRON, GA – A 29-year-old man was killed after crossing a center line on Highway 49 and crashing head-on with another car in Byron Monday morning. This collision happened around 8 a.m. The motorist was identified as Frederick Walker, of Barnesville, who was transported to Atrium Health Navicent and died around 9 a.m. The exact cause of this collision is unclear.
