DECATUR, GA – A driver of a vehicle rear-ended a Dekalb County School bus, injuring themselves and the bus driver and two children Thursday morning.
This collision occurred at the Georgia 12 and Covington Drive intersection. Dekalb Police said the automobile driver hit the back of the school bus amid the bus’ flashing lights.
The driver of the vehicle was trapped, extricated, and then rushed to a hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The children and the bus driver sustained injuries not deemed serious.
