Narrative
ATLANTA, GA – A female pedestrian died Sunday when a speeding vehicle struck her along the interstate just east of Reynoldstown.
The accident happened around 1:40 a.m. on I-20 near Moreland Avenue Southeast, or US-23.
Police say that a black Mustang, one of two cars that were racing along I-20, hit and killed a pedestrian as she walked along the interstate. The Mustang left the scene of the accident.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
A full investigation is underway.
