Narrative

DUNWOODY, GA – A two-vehicle accident involving a sedan and a dump truck seriously injured one person on Tuesday in Dunwoody.

The incident happened around 3 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-285 near Chamblee Dunwoody Road, which is just northeast of Murphy Candler Park.

Police say that a Ford Mustang rear-ended a dump truck along the interstate, at which point the sedan became stuck under the truck.

Medics worked to extricate the driver of the Ford, who went to a local hospital with critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
