STONE MOUNTAIN, GA – A fatality has been reported in connection to a major accident that happened along the highway in east-central Dekalb County on Tuesday.
Crews reported sometime in the morning to US-78 westbound just before Mountain Industrial Boulevard in Stone Mountain.
Police haven’t yet shared many details regarding the accident. They say that one car caught fire as a result of the collision.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim in the crash, nor have they released information about additional injuries.
