Narrative
POWDER SPRINGS, GA – A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in southwest Cobb County killed a motorcyclist on Friday night.
The accident happened before 9 p.m. at the intersection of CH James Parkway and Brownsville Road, which is on the southwest side of Powder Springs.
Police suspect that the westbound motorcyclist hit an eastbound Chevy Silverado when the driver of the latter vehicle turned left on Brownville Road.
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased.
It’s unclear if anyone in the pickup truck sustained injuries.
Officials closed CH James Parkway while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
