Narrative
KENNESAW, GA – Three people were injured last Sunday in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan in Kennesaw.
The incident happened at 9:47 p.m. at the intersection of Chastain Road and Barrett Lakes Boulevard, which is at the south end of Kennesaw State University.
Police say that the driver of an eastbound 2024 Suzuki GSX-R1000 ran a red light and collided with a 2017 Lexus ES350 in the intersection.
The driver of the motorcycle and his 18-year-old passenger, identified as Helena Mastranni, sustained serious injuries in the collision.
The driver of the Lexus also required hospitalization for unspecified injuries.
