Man, woman dead following crash on Hwy 36 in Lamar County

LAMAR COUNTY, GA – A married couple died in a crash on Highway 36 Friday, WSB-TV reported. A vehicle collided with the married couple’s car. The impact from the crash led the couple’s car to go into a ditch. Then the vehicle went off the ground and came to the highway’s shoulder. The couple was identified as Kevin and Christain Sims. Kevin was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died. Christain was pronounced dead at the scene.
