Narrative

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA – A driver of a Toyota Tacoma crossed the center lines of Cumming Highway and struck a 71-year-old woman head-on, leading her to succumb to fatal wounds. 

This collision happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday on Cumming Highway. The 71-year-old woman, Vickie Walker of Panama City Beach, was sent to a hospital where she later died. 

The Tacoma driver, who was identified as 17-year-old Peyton Clay of Cedartown, sustained minor wounds.
