Man, 28, dies from single-car crash in Marietta

COBB COUNTY, GA – A 28-year-old man’s life was claimed in a single-car crash in Marietta Sunday. 

The collision occurred before 9:45 pm at Bankstone Drive Southwest & Shiloh Drive Southwest, according to the Cobb County Courier

Due to possible speeding, the driver of a white 2004 Cadillac Escalade lost control of his vehicle, which traveled off course and then crashed into multiple trees. He was then thrown from his car. 

Police identified the man as Miguel A. Ramirez. 

Ramirez succumbed to his injuries and died. 

The crash is under investigation by the Cobb County Police Department.
